CAM DOC SCANNER (“the App”) is a document scanning and PDF creation application designed to help you scan, edit, organize, and save documents directly on your device.

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information and device permissions the App uses and how your information is handled.

1. Information We Access

CAM DOC SCANNER may access the following information when you choose to use the related features:

Camera

The App uses your device camera to scan documents, receipts, business cards, IDs, and other physical documents.

Camera access is used only when you choose to scan or capture an image.

Photos and Gallery

The App may access photos or images that you select when using the gallery import feature.

The App does not access your entire photo library unnecessarily. Images are accessed when required for a feature you choose to use.

Files and Documents

The App creates and manages files such as:

  • JPG/JPEG images
  • PNG images
  • PDF documents
  • Other supported scan files

These files are stored on your device according to the App’s functionality and your device’s storage permissions.

2. How Your Documents Are Used

Documents and images you scan or import are used to provide the App’s core features, including:

  • Perspective correction
  • Rotation
  • Image enhancement
  • Filters
  • Page organization
  • Multi-page document creation
  • PDF generation
  • Image export
  • Document preview
  • Sharing

Your scanned documents are not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

3. Local Processing and Storage

CAM DOC SCANNER is designed to process your scanned documents and images locally on your device.

Your scanned images, PDFs, and document information are not uploaded to our servers unless a future feature specifically requires data transmission and this Privacy Policy is updated accordingly.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your scanned documents or personal information.

4. Personal and Sensitive Documents

CAM DOC SCANNER may be used to scan documents containing sensitive information, including IDs, business cards, invoices, certificates, receipts, and other personal or business information.

Because these documents may contain sensitive information, you should use the App responsibly and avoid sharing documents with people or services you do not trust.

The App does not intentionally collect the information contained within your scanned documents for its own purposes.

5. Sharing and Exporting

The App allows you to save and share scanned documents and PDFs.

When you choose to share a file, the file is provided to the operating system’s sharing mechanism and may then be sent to the person, application, or service you select.

CAM DOC SCANNER does not control how a third-party application handles a file after you choose to share it.

6. Permissions

Depending on the features you use, CAM DOC SCANNER may request permission to access:

  • Camera — to scan and capture documents.
  • Photos/Media — to import images from your gallery.
  • Files/Storage — to save and manage documents where required by the operating system.

Permissions are requested only when needed for the corresponding functionality.

You can manage or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings. Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from working.

7. Information We Do Not Collect

CAM DOC SCANNER does not intentionally collect:

  • Your scanned document contents
  • Your personal photos
  • Your contacts
  • Your precise location
  • Your passwords
  • Your messages
  • Your phone call information
  • Your financial information

The App does not require an account to use its core scanning features.

8. Analytics and Advertising

CAM DOC SCANNER does not use scanned document content for advertising purposes.

If analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or other third-party services are introduced in future versions, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what information is collected and how it is used.

9. Third-Party Services

CAM DOC SCANNER may rely on operating-system features and services provided by your device platform, such as the camera, photo picker, file system, and system sharing functionality.

Third-party applications or services that you use to open, store, or share exported files have their own privacy policies. CAM DOC SCANNER is not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information handled by the App.

However, no digital storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for deciding where and with whom you share your documents.

11. Children’s Privacy

CAM DOC SCANNER is not specifically directed toward children.

We do not intentionally collect personal information from children through the App.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

Documents created or imported into CAM DOC SCANNER remain on your device until you choose to delete them or they are removed through your device’s storage management.

You can delete your scanned documents and exported files using the App’s available deletion features or through your device’s file management tools.

Because documents are stored locally, deleting the App may also remove locally stored App data depending on your device and operating system.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s features, data practices, or applicable requirements change.

Any updated version will be made available through the App or the location where this Privacy Policy is published.
